‘Own Its’
The Own It programme works with groups of children and young people to develop creative resources using different media to encourage their peers to reflect on risk-taking behaviours, and have a better understanding of their possible consequences.
The Own It’s short films and non-linear on-line decision based games, created by young people for young people to pose questions and raise awareness of risk taking behaviours.
They are produced in partnership with Fast Forward and a range of organisation from across Scotland and hosted here on the PIPS website as examples of Peer Inspiration Projects.
Information of the groups, organisations and funders for each Own It is on the tile for each project below.

Own It Disclaimer
The Own It! project enables simple, decision based online Own It! games to be developed by young people, for young people. Each Own It! is designed to support young people to consider their choices, decisions and actions on a range of risk-taking behaviours in a safe and supportive environment.
Own It! storylines are designed and developed by young creators drawing on the discussions and learning from roup work sessions, and reflecting on their own lived experience of risk taking behaviours.
Through ensuring that each Own It! story is delivered in an effective and authentic way, we support young people to make informed choices about their own health and wellbeing by examining the potential positive and negative outcomes and consequences of risk-taking behaviours.
Fast Forward and Rolled Up Productions neither encourage, nor discourage, any of the storylines in each Own It! game.
